Chapel Ministry

The Chaplain Corps establishes and implements religious ministries pursuant to the First Amendment of the Constitution. The Andersen AFB Chapel Team provides pastoral care, unit visitation, counseling, worship services and religious education to all 36th Wing, all tenant units', deployed personnel and civilian personnel and families assigned to Andersen AFB, Guam.

Catholic Services

Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic community is exciting and diverse. It is our mission to provide for the spiritual needs and foster the spiritual growth of our members celebrating the sacraments, building up the community, offering religious education and formation, and serving all of the community. We work hard to encourage and enable all parishioners to share actively in the life of our community according to their time, talent and financial resources.

Protestant Services
The heart of the Christian faith is worship, Bible study, fellowship and service. In order to meet the needs of our Protestant community, the Andersen AFB Chapel offers two styles of worship: Contemporary Service and Gospel (Baptist) Service. Each one is open to everyone, and our worshippers are encouraged to find the worship service which best meets their needs.

Counseling Services

If something is troubling you, please come in and talk about it. Helping people is our highest priority. Things discussed with a chaplain are confidential. An appointment is recommended, but walk-ins are always welcomed.

To arrange counseling, call the Chapel Center at 366-6139. Emergency cases may be seen any time on a walk-in basis during duty hours or by calling the 36th Wing Command Post at 366-2981 after duty hours and asking for the duty chaplain.
